Tour description:
From the starting point, take path no. 16 south past the Gletschermühlenfeld field and right down to the B 305. From here on to Blindau to the “Heuchner Lack” pond.
Then to the Klausenbach gorge, through the gorge, which leads up into an alpine path to the Klausenbergalm, then left path no. 172 to the Zwerchenbergalm.
The further path leads back to the Klausenbergalm and then the ascent no. 191 to the Hauseralm branches off to the right. The descent goes over the high moor Mühlau and the Loferauen back to Reit im Winkl town center to the starting point.
Special features: Gletschermühlenfeld, Maria Hilft chapel in Alt-Blindau, “Heuchner Lack” pond, path through Klausenbach gorge, Mühlau high moor.
Special features: the Klausenbach Gorge shows different faces, especially after a rainy day. We can find remains of primeval times at Gletschermühlenfeld.
From Munich or Salzburg on the federal motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl. From Munich or Innsbruck on the federal autobahn Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59). Continue to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Parking: -Tirolerstraße 37, 83242 Reit im Winkl -Tourist Info Dorfstraße 38, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
