Experienced mountain runners are enthusiastic about the different running routes at three altitudes, the well-signposted paths and the numerous refreshment stops in Reit im Winkl. Many vacationers: they use their stay to gain running experience on alpine trails for the first time away from the usual asphalt stretches and to discover the importance of vertical meters.

Tip: the high altitude route Winklmoos-Alm, an easy Nordic walking tour with a length of approx. 6 km.The trail leads along circular hiking trail no. 7 Winklmoos-Alm with a total ascent of 100 m and a difference in altitude of 58 m.
The advantages of Nordic Walking include training the entire cardiovascular system, increased oxygen uptake, increased calorie consumption, strengthening of the back muscles, prevention of back problems with low stress on the knees. If you don't have your own paraglider, you can fly with others in tandem. Numerous flight schools in Chiemgau have tandem flights on offer - whether they fly over Reit im Winkl depends on the wind.
