For your holiday stay in Reit im Winkl you have to pay a visitor tax to the local community. In most cases, you pay this tax together with the accommodation bill to your hosts, who pass the amount on to the municipality (exceptions apply, for example when staying at second homes).
With the payment of the visitor tax you are entitled to the Reit im Winkl inklusiv Card with all its services.
Information on the visitor tax regulation
1. For all persons over the age of 17
December 16 to March 31: € 2.70
June 1 to October 15: € 2.50
April 1 to May 31 and October 16 to December 15: € 1.40
2. For children and teenagers from the age of 7 to the age of 17
December 16 to March 31: € 1.20
June 1 to October 15: € 1.00
April 1 to May 31 and October 16 to December 15: € 0.90
3. For severely disabled people with a degree of disability (GdB) from 80 up to and including GdB 99, the visitor tax per day is half of the amount mentioned at 1 or 2 above.
4. Children up to the age of 7 as well as severely disabled people with a GdB 100 and their accompanying person are exempt from paying the visitor tax.
Regulation for business trips
If the purpose of your stay in Reit im Winkl is not holidays but work, different rules apply. Please discuss this when booking and when checking in to your accommodation.
