Waterfall Walk

From the tourist information you head in the direction of the center past beautiful proud old farmhouses decorated with great flowers in the direction of our St. Pankratius church, with its imposing onion dome, built in the neo-baroque and art nouveau style.

The path continues through Hadergasse, as the locals affectionately call the Hausbergstraße. Here, too, you will find very old, partly restored, pretty houses. At the fork in the Hausbergstraße, we decide to go left and you can manage the short uphill stretch in no time at all, before immersing yourself in nature again. The narrow path meanders past the Pankratius spring, past rocks and a flowing stream to the waterfall, a landmark of our beautiful holiday resort.

Here at the latest you should dip your feet into the ice-cold mountain water that falls from the mountain and watch the brave climbers. Continue along the path past the Kriegerkapelle chapel, which was dedicated to the fallen soliders from Reit im Winkl of the two world wars. Via the Augustenruh (named after his nickname, Dr. August Oberweiler) it first goes to the Protestant Mountain Church, another special feature. It's easy to return to the starting point.
