Tour description:
From the Tourist Info we start in the direction of the church, turn right into Hausbergstraße and directly onto the fixed hiking trail to the Eckkapelle chapel.
On the forest road, turn left in the direction of Glapfalm and on to the Lieberg forest hut. We follow this path and come to an alpine meadow (a small part of the Chiemseeblick premium trail) which initially allows us to climb slightly and finally leads comfortably downhill to the Hutzenalm.
Here is the possibility to have some food and drink and to rest a little. (Note the operating times).
We walk steadily downhill on a tarred road in the direction of Birnbach. After the Hanslbauerhof (left) a firm, narrow path leads into Birnbacherstraße (approx. 300m) and back via Weitseestraße. After the Museum of Local History we walk towards Wimmerkreuz and turn left to the starting point.
This tour can also be done the other way round, but the section to the Hutzenalm is very steep.
