Tour description:

Taubensee car park Hinterwössen - Wegmannalm - Häusleralm - Chiemhauseralm - Streichenkirche - Streichenkirche car park - Schlechin.g From the Hinterwössen hiking car park, the comfortable path no. 92 leads past the Wegmannalm, which has a great view, to the Rexmoos crossroads. Here you turn left and pass the Häusleralm over beautiful alpine pastures to the Chiemhauseralm. Past this stop, walk a few meters downhill, where you meet the path coming up from Schleching, Achberg and the Streichenkirche. This path leads past the Donaueralm and before you reach the Haideralm, turn left towards Streichen. Via the alpine pasture area of the Ulmenaualm you will soon reach the Streichenkirche St. Servatius with its famous Gothic altar. From the Streichenkirche, hiking path no. 15 leads down, past the Streichen car park into the Schleching valley. From here you can take the bus back to Unter-/Oberwössen. Next to the old Streichen pilgrimage church is the equally old Mesnerhof, an inn with a beer garden and a magnificent view over the Achental and the Geigelstein. Refreshments: Chiemhauseralm, Berggasthof Streichen (currently closed) Tip: The pilgrimage church of St. Servatius on the Streichen is one of the most important art monuments in the Bavarian Achental.
