Which season do you like the most?

I like the change of the seasons in Reit im Winkl and I find it fascinating how much nature in the Chiemgau changes from month to month, sometimes from day to day.

But I prefer summer: Lots of daylight for long mountain tours, stopping at an alpine pasture and drinking a cold elder spritzer, being able to ride the MTB even after work and swim in Lake Weitsee as often as possible.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I am out and about in the Chiemgau and Berchtesgaden mountains as often as possible. But my greatest passion is travelling, whether to Carinthia or Cambodia, to Ecuador or to the East End of London.

The best trips combine both. Tours to the summits of Großglockner in Austria, Jebel Toubkal in Morocco or the mountains of Nepal remain unforgettable.
