Route 9 to lake Walchsee

Take the main road towards Ruhpolding and turn right into Blindauer Straße towards Blindau. Follow the signs to the Klausenbergalm along the Klausenbach river. At the junction to the Klausenbergalm ride straight on. Turn right and stay on the forest road.

After a short, steep descent you will come to Hagerstraße. Follow the course of the road until it goes left, before the big bend, through a short wooded area on the Kaltenbachweg onto the main road. There you cross the street to the right, follow the Ache river to the intersection. Here you ride left over the bridge and then immediately right on the Achendamm to the sports field and follow the signs "Radweg Walchsee".

At Kranzach you cross the main street and over the Seestraße it goes into the town center, here turn left to the church then right to the tennis hall. Then it goes left to the campsite, here along the lake to Kranzach. Shortly on the main street in the direction of Kössen, turn right again into the second street.

Via Bichlach it goes to Niederbichl. At the "Gaststätte Bruckwirt" intersection, turn left to the sports field and then turn left on Achendamm to the Staffenbrücke bridge and under the main road to the center of the village. At the Rathausplatz, turn left following the signs for "Taubensee / Peternhof". Enjoy the fantastic view of the Unterberg and the Kaiser Mountains.

At the Peternhof hotel go straight ahead and follow the signs 'Fußweg Reit im Winkl'. Pass the golf course, cross the border and ride over the Oberbichler and Birnbacher Straße to Reit im Winkl.
