The historical finds unearthed in Seebruck and the surrounding area over the decades are now on display in the Bedaium Roman Museum.
The Roman "Bedaium" became the early Christian "Potena" and finally the medieval-Bavarian "Prucca" as a forerunner of today's Seebruck. Today the Church of St. Thomas and St. Stephen (1474 - 1478) stands on the site of the former Roman fort.
The bridge square in Seebruck looks back on thousands of years of settlement history. In numerous excavation campaigns by the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments, huge amounts of small finds such as glass, ceramics, coins, metal utensils and jewelery could be secured in addition to the archaeological exposure and measurement of ancient building remains
This continuous soil research revealed a fascinating picture of the past, which visitors to the Bedaium Roman Museum will find presented in a clear and scientifically substantiated form
