The first Premium Winter Hiking Trail in Germany begins here. This is completely rolled out as well as signposted and easily accessible for everyone with sturdy shoes. The hiking trail runs almost flat through the hilly alpine landscape.
Again and again you get wonderful views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and a fascinating panorama as far as the foothills of the Alps and lake Chiemsee. The alpine huts, which are irregularly scattered in the landscape, covered in deep snow, provide attractive motifs for pictures or impressions for emotional memories.
There are always seats to rest. Past the St. Anna's chapel, the path leads you back to the starting point of the Hindenburghütte.
Special features: The winter hiking trail meets the criteria of the German hiking seal and received the "Premium Winter Hiking Trail" certificate in 2009.
