Tour description:
Starting point: Reit im Winkl cross-country stadium
From here the steep ascent to Oberbichl begins, accompanied by a breathtaking mountain panorama. After crossing this road, the next steep section runs to Birnbach. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with an unforgettable view of the Tyrolean mountains and our beautiful village. The hiking trail continues in a loop to Oberbichl and back to Birnbach. The way back follows the same route to the starting point.
Tip: The local bus (valid with the Reit im Winkl inklusiv Card) runs several times a day to Oberbichl. Please note the timetable!
Refreshment stops: Reit im Winkler Stuben in the Festsaal, Berghotel Birkenhof, Stoaner - Alm, Bauernhofcafé
From Birnbach you can go even further to the Hutzenalm. It's about a 3/4 hour steep climb. The way back is on the same route.
From Munich or Salzburg on the federal motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl.

From Munich or Innsbruck on the federal autobahn Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59). Continue to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl.
