MTB 51 Straubinger Haus Loop

Highlights of the tour: Straubinger Haus with a view of the main ridge of the Alps and the Chiemgau Alps, great places to stop for refreshments. From the tourist information office, first drive through the local area in the direction of the Blindau district. Once here, the path runs parallel to the Klausenbachklamm gorge up to the Klausenbergalm. At the junction, a serpentine driveway leads, first moderately steep and later steeply uphill, to the Straubinger Haus. Once at the top, the sunny terrace invites you to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view. From the Straubinger Haus, the highest point of the tour, follow the MTB signs downhill towards the Hindenburghütte. Past the Hindenburghütte, the tour continues down to the Nattersbergalm and finally to the Seegatterl car park. Cycle along the Schwarzlofer back to the starting point. On the way back, you can cool off your tired legs in the refreshing stream. There are places to stop for refreshments in town and during the tour. Orientation text: This tour runs in the border area of Tyrol and is signposted by the tourism associations responsible there. After crossing the border, use the signs to orientate yourself.
