In summer, our large, attractively landscaped garden with sunbathing lawn, sun loungers, covered sun terrace, barbecue area & fireplace, surrounded by fragrant, colourful meadows and imposing mountains, offer wonderful places to enjoy and linger. Pure sunshine from the early morning hours until sunset. The hiking and cycling trails starting at the house invite you to extraordinary journeys of discovery in a fascinating natural setting. Lockable bike garage with e-bike charging station available!
In winter, you can enjoy direct access at the house to the perfectly groomed cross-country ski runs and winter hiking trails and reach the Benzeck ski area with snow tubing facility, the 10 km long natural toboggan run and the stop for the free shuttle bus to the Winklmoos/Steinplatte ski area as well as the free local bus in just a few minutes' walk. Ski room & ski boot heating available!
Shopping facilities: Everything you need for breakfast is just a minute's walk away, at the ever-popular "Semmelhäusl" bakery Neumaier. In the immediate vicinity you will find the "Gasthaus Sonneck", which will spoil you with delicious Bavarian delicacies and as a special tip for fish lovers, the "Forellenstube", which offers Steckerlfisch (trout) grilled over an open fire. Many other shopping facilities, restaurants & cafes invite you to visit the centre of Reit im Winkl.
Dwarf service: On request, we provide a travel cot, high chair, changing mat, baby bath, potty, toilet seat and buggy free of charge.
Further advantages for you as our guest: We are partner landlord/operator of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free services in addition to our own, such as free entry to the Reit im Winkl open-air swimming pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the lido pools at Walchsee. Furthermore, we are a partner-lessor/operator of the Benz-Eck ski lifts and Harry's Tennis Camp. This means that in addition to our own services, you receive further free services such as, for example, in winter you enjoy free travel on the Benzeck ski lifts. (€ 1.00 contribution to costs). Tennis players use the outdoor courts, indoor tennis courts and the fun park of Harry's Tenniscamp free of charge.
