Demel- Hauseralm Trail

From the Festsaal car park walk along the sports field in a southerly direction through the Thalgartnerwald forest to Loferau via the "Grenzsteg" bridge, further on the forest road climbing to the "Mühlau" high moor.

Along the moor in a southerly direction, steadily rising in a gorge to the "Demel-Hauseralm" (881m). From here, descent to the Klausenbergalm path, continue to the left on the path to the "Klausenbach gorge" junction (surefootedness) and follow the meadow path to "Alt-Blindau".

From there in the direction of "Benzeck" again in the Loferau and over the "Krautloidersteg" bridge to the Thalgartnerwald forest, to the right over meadows, along the Dosbach river to the center or starting point.

Special features: Wild river area Lofer, high moor Mühlau, pasture area, gorge path through the Klausenbergklamm gorge; pond in Blindau, beautiful Maria Hilft Chapel in Alt Blindau.

Note: You can also bypass the Klausenberg gorge on the forest road by going straight ahead at the junction on the road, turning left at the children's playground and coming back to the meadow path to Alt-Blindau
